My Studies

Upon completing my VWO (Pre-university education) in secondary school, I started studying Facility Management at the HAN in Nijmegen. However, after the first year I decided this was not my future. After some counseling I switched to Accountancy at the HAN. Although I really liked the study and passed the courses, I again did not see myself working in this field. After three years I decided to leave Accountancy behind.

After trying out for Air Traffic Control (reaching the 4th round) I decided to take a year off and do some full time work at my side job. Further counseling with a specialized study advisor led me to start my bachelor Computing Science at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. I really liked this study and finally felt like I found my future. On graduation I started my master Information Sciences at the same university. With my history in more business oriented studies this felt like the perfect combination. Although I completed all the courses, I decided to start working before finishing my master thesis.
